It Started on the Lake.

HUSHTUBBY began with a simple idea on Lake Lure, North Carolina.

While riding on our pontoon boat, I kept seeing the familiar SLOW NO WAKE buoys along the water. My wife was always finding unique pieces for our lake house, and one day I thought, Why not turn that iconic buoy into a pillow?

That idea became our original Slow No Wake Buoy Pillow — and HUSHTUBBY was born.

After more than 25 years creating and manufacturing products in the gift and apparel industry, I've learned that the best products aren't just things. They remind us of places, people and moments we love.

Today, HUSHTUBBY by has grown beyond the lake. Our pillows are inspired by the places where life feels a little better — lake houses, porches, docks, golf courses, college towns, coastal escapes, wineries and favorite getaways.
